Harsh Noise Originals INCAPACITANTS from Japan started in 1981 and have been bringin their brand of chaotic Noise to the masses for 45 years now,one of the staples of the japanese noise scene alongside the likes of Merzbow,Hanatarash,the gerogerigegegege and The Boredoms paving a scene of audio and sometimes physical destructions. Speculum have been a part of the Southern California harsh noise,grindcore,industrial and noisecore scene for the better part of 24 years. this will be the first speculum recording released to the public to feature new member Noah Jerge of Autophagia on synths and electronics alongside Brian Speculums own chaos electronic and hidden vocals among the layers of electronic chaos style. Brian Speculum being a very huge fan and collector of Incapacitants is very honored to take part in this split and feels it is like a milestone in his journey of creation and connection in the Noise and Punk scenes. Both acts contribute original tracks 30 mins in length only found exclusively on this split cassette tape. Incapacitants brings their newly recorded track “walls to the ball” and speculum brings “the horrors of happiness” in a chaos noise style that is a tribute to the noise style of Incapacitants. 70 tapes will be distributed in USA/Canada by Birdeater entertainment and 30 tapes will be distributed by T. Mikawa and Incapacitants in Japan.
